ElevenLabs vs Autodesk: Free Credits, Pricing & Eligibility Compared (2026)

If you are a student or educator looking for free software, both ElevenLabs and Autodesk offer generous student benefits. ElevenLabs gives verified students 3 months of free voice generation, while Autodesk provides a full 1-year renewable Education license for professional design tools. Read this guide to choose the right option for your project and maximize your access.

ElevenLabs vs Autodesk: Key Features & Student Benefits

Choosing between ElevenLabs and Autodesk depends on whether you need AI-powered audio generation or professional CAD and design software. Both platforms support academic work, but their license terms and durations differ greatly.

Core Differences in Access and Plans

ElevenLabs focuses on realistic text-to-speech, voice cloning, and AI audio agents. Its student offer grants 3 months of free access to the Creator plan, giving you higher character limits and commercial usage rights during the promotional period.

Autodesk provides comprehensive access to its entire suite of design tools, including AutoCAD, Maya, Revit, and Fusion 360. Instead of temporary credits, Autodesk offers a renewable 1-year full license for educational use.

Verification Rules and Fine Print

Before signing up for either platform, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria to avoid sudden account suspensions or unwanted credit card charges.

ElevenLabs Verification Requirements

To claim the ElevenLabs student deal, you must be a student aged 18 or older enrolled in a university across supported regions (including the US, Canada, EU, UK, and Australia). You will need to verify your student status through their official student flow.

Keep track of your subscription billing cycle. Once the 3-month promotional period ends, the account converts automatically to a standard paid plan unless you cancel beforehand.

• Requires active university enrollment verification
• Covers ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents, and ElevenAPI usage
• Auto-renews to standard pricing if not canceled manually

Autodesk Verification Requirements

The Autodesk Education plan requires verification through SheerID. You may need to upload official documentation, such as a student ID, transcript, or proof of employment for educators.

Unlike typical startup grants, Autodesk's student tier strictly prohibits commercial work. Using an Education license for client projects or a revenue-generating startup violates their terms of service.

1. Verify identity and school status via SheerID
2. Gain 12 months of single-user software access
3. Renew 30 days before expiration with updated student proof
